The lid of the tea pot is a large proportion of the model and this image shows that with out the lid the teapots insperation of the flame does not come through, but with the lid on it is more obviouse.

To give an idea of the form i created the teapot out of pink foam to show the size and the interaction with the user.

the teapot was blue to create a false sense of security as the colour blue, in most peoples eyes, signifies cold and a teapot is the opposite. The flam of a gass fire is blue and this is where i got the form of this teapot.

this was a first year project, this project was to look at a colour and design an item that related to the colour and i designed a teapot.

radio card model
looking at existing products and changing them to have a better user interface. i looked at a radio and this is my first sketch model for the product i used this model to get the front button and speakers looking how i wanted them.

this card model was used to look at the curves of the side of the speaker.

this model was also to get the form of the sides of the radio. using pink foam i could get i feel of how i would produce the final model.

this project was a live client project with maclaren buggys, we were set a brief of designing an accessory or design a new part for a current buggy.

i chose to design a brake release system which is a brake system for the mac3 buggy, which is designed to take your child as your out running.

hand brake release system.
this is the hand brake system which is on the handle bars of the mac3 buggy, which when the user places their hands on the brake it releases the hold on the rear wheels.

hand brake release system.
when the handle is depressed and the brake is released the buggy can move forward so the user can start running. when the handle is let go, say if the user has fallen or lost grip, the brake will be applied to the wheels and slow the buggy to a stop allowing the user to safely retrieve the buggy and their child.

this rendering was then used to produce general asembly drawing to produce the final model.
